We are super excited that this winter, we’ll be turning our CVA Gallery into THE destination for holiday gifts for every art lover on your list. Featuring a wide array of high-quality fine art and handcrafted goods, there’s something for everyone! As we “unboxed” the artwork as it got delivered, we practically squealed with excitement over:

  • unique and gorgeous handmade jewelry, scarves, and other textiles
  • all kinds of pottery, from the functional to the decorative
  • 2-D work ranging from graffiti art and trippy prints to landscapes and fiber wall hangings
  • furniture and lighting
  • holiday ornaments
  • beautifully scented soaps
  • much, much more

  • Sip-and-Shop, Small Business Saturday, Nov. 24, 10 a.m. – noon. From 10 a.m. until noon, enjoy a seasonal mimosa or sparkling water and shop ‘til you drop while your kiddos create their own holiday crafts…supervised by us! Mimosas until they run out; gallery open until 5 p.m.
  • Art on Tap, Saturday, Dec. 1, 6 – 9 p.m. Folks, here’s your chance: Sample a variety of craft beers (and maybe a few ciders) and select the perfect gift for your special someone. Cover charge gets applied toward any purchase of $30 or more
  • First Friday “Meet the Artists,” Dec. 7, 6 – 9 p.m. Get in the holiday mood and meet many of the artists featured in the Holiday Invitational. Mix and mingle in a jingling beat while you chat with artists and craftspeople who made the artwork you’re about to purchase…
  • Panel Discussion: The Line between Art & Craft (or IS There One?), Mid-December, Date and Details TBD

Winter Break ARTventure Days

Keeping little hands and hearts cheerful with ART!

Join us over the long holiday break in December for special art workshops where children (grades PreK - 5th)
draw, paint, sculpt and play the day away in the warmth of our art studios.
The theme for this Winter Break ARTventure Days is "Chills, Spills & Automobiles."
The Standard Day program runs from 8:30am - 3pm for $25/per day for members and $35/day for nonmembers.
An Extended Day is available for $5/day. Register for 5 days and get 1 FREE with our 5-Day Discount.

Monday, 12/23; Thursday, 12/26 - Friday, 12/27; Monday, 12/30 -Tuesday, 12/31; and Thursday, 1/2 - Friday, 1/3   
These days run throughout school year when school is out. Register early to reserve your space.

Art Parties (Indoors!)
Enjoy an art party for your child's birthday, family fun day or just because in our festive and warm Art Party Studio. We host themed art parties from princesses to superheroes and everything in between! Pick one of our favorite themes or we can design one especially for you. You invite the guests and bring the treats to eat, we provide the instructor and art.

FAMILY PROGRAMS cozy up with Mommy & Me art classes (or invite Dad!)

Muddy Buddies A pottery class that lets both you and your child enjoy a day to work together and just get messy! Team up to take throwing on the pottery wheel or build a clay construction that takes two hands to complete. Meets 4 Saturdays beginning this Saturday, October 5. Registration by Wednesday required. INTRO TO THE CAMERA is a photography class for beginners to learn the basics of their camera and how to use it. This class will include a brief intro into photo color correction. Read more here.

Pottery & Ceramics:   4 week sessions
A condensed version of our standard pottery program intended for the beginner and intermediate student. From hand-building and wheel throwing to surface technique, try your hand a ceramics in this crash course in clay taught by Seagrove Potter, Jared Zehmer. Check out his website for inspiration.
